Great For use with DSS Satellite (DirecTV or Dish Network), Cable
Boxes, VCR, DVD, DVR, Game Consoles, Camcorder, Security Cameras, And More!
You can use this transmitter with any device that has standard Audio Video
Jacks!
Send the video and audio signal up to 500' radius to a TV for viewing or
recording! Receive the signal on your TV - no special receiver required! The UHF
signal is not directional like other transmission systems so this one unit can
send the signal to multiple TVs around your home or office regardless of
direction!
This unit send a UHF signal which can be received by virtually any TV using it's
built-in UHF reception capability!
Lots of great uses! I use one to send the signal from my DSS
Satellite in the living room to all the other TVs in my house. I
also use one at the office to send the signal from a security
camera to the TV in my office. I used to use one just to send the
audio from my stereo back to the TV in my home office. This model
has great improvements over the older models, they've improved
the range, added left and right audio inputs, added a test
pattern setup for easier channel setup, improved the audio
quality, and made them even more compact!
Since this unit sends a UHF signal, no receiver is required. The
antenna on your Television will be all the receiver that is
needed. For longer distances, and inexpensive amplified antenna
is useful. Handheld "Slide-Rule" Televisions also work
extremely well for receiving the signal in mobile applications.
How does this UHF Wireless Transmitter
compare to 2.4GHz and 900Mhz Wireless Systems?
2.4GHz and 900MHz both operate on crowded bandwidths... microwaves,
wireless phones, and other common items will interfere with them.
Another disadvantage to the 2.4GHz and 900Mhz systems is that they are
directional and require special receivers. This means if your main TV is in the
center of your home, you cannot send the signal in separate directions.... the
antennas need to be pointed at each other. This UHF transmitter broadcast in a
360 degree radius and does not require any receiver so one transmitter operates
as a whole house distribution system!
MODULATOR MODE: Connect the signal In to this Video Sender via RCA Audio Video Cables and connect from the RF output on the back in to a wall cable outlet and it will back feed the signal through your homes cabling. You can connect a TV in another room to the cable to receive the signal. This is a very popular application for customers with one DirecTv or Dish receiver... but they want the signal in a bedroom without having to buy additional receivers.
